AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT

ADRA YOUNG, AUTHOR, PLAYWRIGHT & TEACHER!

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

What made me become a writer?   I was on a mission to help kids solve behavior issues utilizing the arts.

What is my latest book?   My latest book is titled The Everyday Living of Children and Teens Monologues Volume II.  It is a sequel to my first book, the Everyday Living of Children and Teens Monologues which was wrote in 2005.

What advice  can you give about writers looking for publishers or agents?  My suggestion is that you do your homework before you jump into any contract with a publisher or an agent.  As a writer if you decide on a publisher or agent, be sure to read the contract thoroughly.

List any literary endeavors or events forthcoming?  My premier book signing in Detroit takes place November 15th. 2008 at Youth Ville.  In June of 2008 I had the opportunity as an author/guest to read to the youth at  Ronald Brown Academy's very first Read-a-Thon.

What is my web site and how can people contact me?   Individuals can contact me at www.ardannyl.com or  www.amazon.com.  For individuals interested in me conducting an actors workshop for kids or either adults, I may be reached at 313-729-2573
