  1. selling old college textbooks is a great way to rack up a little extra cash. eCampus.com does a very simple buyback system where you just put in the isbn and they tell you how much they offer then they email you a packing slip and send you a check.

  2. For my buying and selling needs I always use http://www.bigwords.com They are a textbook search engine that searches all the online textbook retailers (including amazon, half, ebay etc) and rental sites (including chegg, bookrenter etc) to find you the best prices. You can even use them at the end of the semester to search for resellers to sell your books to.

  3. It's so true...selling your books online can be a decent income that you make on the side along with a primary job. I also use http://www.bigwords.com and they've always been pretty successful. I remember being able to get about $97 for a book that I paid $114 for, which my campus bookstore was only going to give me $23 for. It was incredible. All because they search all the online textbook resellers...hence why they're able to find you top dollar. Really great site.
