The Women's Convention, "Make Them Hear You!" will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Erma L. Henderson Auditorium, Coleman A Young Municipal Center 13th Floor, 2 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Michigan 48226.
The Women's Convention will address quality of life issues for women, girls and families throughout the State of Michigan.
The event is sponsored by Detroit City Council Member Jo Ann Watson's Quality of Life Task Force: Women's Advisory Committee and the Honorable Tina Abbott, Vice Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party and Board Chair of the Wayne State University Board of Governors.
WE NEED DETROIT SNOBS TO DONATE GENTLY USED CHILDREN'S AND WOMEN'S BOOKS TO GIVE AWAY AT THE CONVENTION!!

DONATION INSTRUCTIONS: Go to the security gate behind The Wright Museum of African American History (near Brush and Farnsworth in Detroit), and drop off books with security. Museum hours are Tuesday - Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 - 5 p.m. Let them know this is for Roberta Wright. You won't have to pay for parking or walk far with your books! Ms. Wright will make sure your books get to the event on March 17.
