 Longwood, FL (Christian-PR) Xulon Press is proud to announce the launch of the 2010 Christian Choice Book Awards on June 4, 2010. This contest, which is open to all authors who have published a Christian book between April 21, 2009, and May 29, 2010, awards up to $300 in prize money for runners-up and an Apple iPad to the grand prize winner. This contest was established to recognize Christian authors for outstanding literary achievement in 14 categories: Christian Living, Bible Study, Devotional, Current Events/Political, Christian Fiction, Poetry, Ministry, Theology, Autobiography/Biography, Missions, Health, End-Times, Counseling/Recovery, and Parenting: Marriage & Family. Xulon Press is currently accepting full-length fiction and non-fiction books—either case-bound or paper-bound—that have been published in the United States as a self-published work or as a work published by a non-traditional or print-on-demand publisher. The contest will accept its last submissions on June 30, and a list of winners will be announced on July 31. Our judges use a number of criteria to evaluate the books: Is the book well-written and readable? Is the subject matter original? Does the material engage the reader? Does the book teach, inspire, or encourage the reader?
